Mrs. Gibbs
Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs, Bentley's in Elkton, MD

The smiles say it all!

I was thrilled when Mr. Gibbs asked me to perform for his wife's 30th Birthday Party, especially after performing at their wedding reception just a few short years ago.

We later found out that this was a duel celebration.  Mr. and Mrs. Gibbs are expecting a son, that they will name Malachi.

Congratulations Malachi, God has selected marvelous parents for you.

Sometimes you just know.  Every year I meet a couple, that I know, I will never forget,  this year, that couple is Mr. and Mrs. Roberts.

We met a year ago, to discuss their vision and plans for their wedding,  We talked about many things, but they said two words that stuck with me, Grown and Sexy.

Monogram on wall

Francis and Rhonda, selected our Lifetime Package, which features, their initials on the wall, light show, and our extended JBL sound system.

Aniya

Cocktail hour, featured jazz band, Aniya.  They were great.  I was blown away.  WOW!   They set the tone for a marvelous and elegant evening.  The band played through dinner, but I could've listened to them all night.

Rhonda and Francis entered the room in style, and danced to "Baby, I Need Your Love Today" by Sweet Thunder.  After dinner, Rhonda danced with her son to "Song For Mama" by Boyz II Men and Francis danced with his mother to "If I Could" by Regina Belle.

A very nice twist was playing line dance songs between courses.  A great suggestion!  It gave the band a rest, gave the venue more time to prepare; and really got the guests energized for an awesome evening.

I was thrilled about working with two of my favorite people, Wedding Planner, Patty Drew of Destined to Deliver, and Photographer, Rodrick Moore, who was recently nominated for Best Photographer in Delaware.  When Patty plans a wedding, every detail is accounted for, and the evening flows effortlessly.  Of course we danced: from "I Do Love You" by GQ to "Million Dollar Bill" by Whitney Houston.  What eles can say.  A great night!

Cutting The Cake
Mr. and Mrs. Cathell, at The Farmhouse in Wilmington, De.

What a pleasure it was to enjoy and share with the family of Maureen and Tom Cathell.  The evening began with a lovely ceremony in the garden followed by cocktails at The Farmhouse.

Our Bridal Party was introduced into the room to Queen's "Another One Bites The Dust" after which our Bride and Groom danced to "For Once In My Life" by Tony Bennett.  Later, the Bride and Groom danced with their parents to "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion".

The staff at The Farmhouse was lead by Eric and Laurie.  Both were fantastic, attentive, kind, and kept everything running smooth.  They're service really made the night easy and fun.  Once you meet them, you'll know your event will be in good hands.

After dinner we got right into the party.  Guests were prepared to have a good time, They were excited and ready to go; and so we danced, and we danced, and we danced!  Then suddenly it was time to go.  We all shared a final dance to Al Green's "I'm Still In Love With You".

Thank  you Tom and Maureen.  I had a terrific time.

Slater
Peter and Stacy Slater, at The Chesapeake Inn, in Chesapeake City, MD

In over 30 years of performing, there are some events that just to be there is an absolute blessing.

What a great time!  Guests started dancing before dinner, which is always the highest compliment for me.  Eddie, our captain and Matra'd, requested I clear the dance floor to allow his staff to serve the guests.

Mr. and Mrs. Slater began their day with a beautiful ceremony held at Faith City Family Church in Newark, DE.  Guests enjoyed a prelude of classical music while being seated.  The bridal party entered to "Canon In D" by Pachelbel and our Bride entered to "Jesu, Joy Of Man's Desiring" by the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra.

At the reception, the room was decorated so nice that you could feel the romance in the room; intimate with elegance all around you, a beauiful view of the water, and a sparkling star studded ceiling; it was very nice.

We started the evening with soft jazz as the guests entered for cocktails.  After photos, our Bride and Groom was introduced to "It Takes Two" by Rob Base, then danced to " Endless Love" by Luther Vandross and Mariah Carey.  Later, The Bride danced with her father to "You Don't Have To Let Go" by Jessica Simpson.  The Groom and his mother danced to "There You'll Be" by Faith Hill

Monogram PhotoPeter and Stacy selected our Lifetime Package, that included their names on the dance floor, light show, and our JBL exteneded sound system.

We danced to such songs as "Cry To Me" by Solomon Burke, "Vibrant Thing" by Q-Tip and so much more.

Stacy and Peter shared a last dance to "Everytime I Close My Eyes" by Babyface, and we all danced together to "If I Ain't Got You" by Alicia Keys to close the evening.

Our photographer was Ron Soliman of Litrato Photo.  Ron was awesome, and we had lots of fun together; the photos are simply awesome!. Did I say Awesome!  AWESOME!  They captured every moment.

Thank you Peter and Stacy.  The pleasure was all mine!
